Cheap Wireless Broadband Deals
ByAs it’s the start of a new months, I thought I’d do a quick review of some of the cheap wireless broadband deals available at the moment by 3.
Cheap Wireless Internet Plans
$15 per month for 1GB of Data
This has been one of the best wireless deals for a few months now. But that’s no reason to stop singing the praises of this cheap plan! 1GB of data is only $15 per month. If you don’t have a 3 Mobile, then it’s $5 extra per month to get the USB modem. So if you’re in need of a new mobile plan, you might as well get a mobile from 3 as well and save the $5 per month. For more info see our wireless internet review of this plan.
3 months FREE with $29 per month for 2GB of Data
Three has just introduced this deal, increasing the offer from 2 free months to 3 free months. It’s on a 24 month plan and the USB modem comes for free - including the E160 for broadband roaming on the Telstra NextG network. The same 3 free months offer is also available on the $39 for 6GB of data plan. Visit the 3 Website to get this deal.
Cheap Pre-Paid Wireless Internet
$129 outright for a USB modem
You have the choice of either the MF627 USB modem which comes with 100MB of bonus data upon purchase, or the E160 USB modem which is capable of 3G broadband roaming on the Telstra NextG network. There are no contracts or commitments, just buy your modem outright and then buy prepaid wireless credit as you need it! See more about 3 prepaid wireless on their website.
$279 outright for a USB modem WITH 12GB of data
The best thing about this deal is that the 12GB of data has a 12 month expiry! It’s the only wireless broadband service on the market currently with longer than 6 month credit expiry. If you buy the MF627 modem it comes with another 100MB bonus data. I’d recommend getting the E160 instead with NextG roaming capabilities. Roaming does cost extra though, but is a useful feature to have if you need it. Check out more about 3 prepaid wireless broadband on their site.
